Naturally smoking cheddar definitely adds something extra to our cheese. When we say smoking, we mean smoking!... genuinely smoking our cheese over smouldering oak chippings imparts a rather special smoke taste; think bonfire night or wood burning stoves The taste is incomparable.
Many 'smoked' cheeses have been made by adding smoke 'flavour'.
Our Oak Smoked Cheddar is AWARD WINNING having won First Prize at The Devon County Show in 2017, and in addition wining the overall champion product in the show!
We avoid 13 of the 14 known allergens at our dairy – other than the unpasteurised cow’s MILK.

We have analysed our cheese for nutritional values, but please do bear in mind artisan cheeses, made from raw milk are not standardised and values may vary throughout the year depending on the season, what the cows are eating and the number of cows in the herd. We buy from one farm only, so this affects the variation significantly.
