We have developed a miniature cheese (Truckle) which has the characteristic traditional cheddar taste and texture. Like all our traditional cheese, it is handmade using unpasteurised milk and matured in cloth.
We believe it offers the discerning customer a unique small ‘whole cheese’ of the same quality now expected from The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company.
The truckle is presented within a box, and the weight is between 750g and 850g
Truckle dimensions: approximately 140mm (5.5") diameter x 50mm (2") deep.
All our authentic cheddars are made the same way, just selected according to where and for how long they have been matured.
We avoid 13 of the 14 known allergens at our dairy – other than the unpasteurised cow’s MILK. We make all of our cheese from cow's MILK.

We have analysed our cheese for nutritional values, but please do bear in mind artisan cheeses, made from raw milk are not standardised and values may vary throughout the year depending on the season, what the cows are eating and the number of cows in the herd. We buy from one farm only, so this affects the variation significantly.
